Carol Anne needs to be brought back immediately. She's one of the best and should make you proud. She was one of the main reasons I watched CTV news. Maybe it's time to switch channels. Cut backs can be made in other areas.

I was very mad when I heard of Carol Anne Meehan, Carolyn Waldo and Shelley McLean I have watched and Listen to these women for years. I turned my Radio on at 5Am every week day morning to listen to Shelly. And watched Carol Anne on the news every since she started at CTV in 1989 and enjoyed Carolyn doing the sports they always Had a smile on there faces.

I am very upset to hear that Carol Anne Meehan was laid off by Bell Media and shocked to hear how she was treated after 27 years of giving us that "home-town feel" when delivering the news. Shame on Bell Media. I am cancelling my service with them. Can we raise money to bring her back (crowd funding or something?) and pay her salary ourselves? I am sure the Ottawa valley would be willing to pay $5 a year to get her back!
