You have shot yourselves in the foot. Carol Anne Meehan was the best reporter CTV had. She had compassion and played a huge part in involving herself locally. I shall not be watching CTV anymore for news, I am now looking to change my TV provider - you are far too expensive, way above other providers. Will never support or promote bell media again as I have done in the past. Totally disgusted at the underhanded way you dealt with this.

It is inconceivable that Bell Media would choose to abandon someone so trusted and loved as Carol Anne Meehan after 27 years.

Please hire Carol Anne Meehan back. She is the voice of Ottawa 6:00 p.m. news. She cares about Ottawa and its residents. We won't be watching the CTV 6:00 p.m. news any longer if she is not there.

I will not watch CTV , I stopped as soon as I heard what happened to Carol Anne. I did not agree when they brought Graham Richardson to the broadcast. I endured his mono tone no emotion or compassion news reading. I even endured his pausing mid sentence....sigh
I hope Carol Anne knows that she will be missed and has the support of the community. Shame on Bell Media. I would say give her her job back but know that will never happen!!
