Carol Anne Meehan a huge part of Ottawa and I truly feel she is the backbone of the newscast. I trust her, I learn from her and I feel like she is a member of my extended family. Please bring her back!

Carole Anne is CTV at 6:00pm. Her visibility with community service is also your best free marketing resource in your tool box. Vic King

After Max retired the only reason I watched the news was because of Carol Anne. Now it is time to move on to another news source.

I want to see Carol Anne Meehan brought back to CTV Ottawa. I think it was terrible the way she was let go without even a chance to even say goodbye. She has been such a strong support to the community and I want you to listen to the people and bring her back.

I have been watching Carol Anne Meehan since the first day she began reporting the news. I now live well outside the Ottawa region but still watch CTV Ottawa 6 o'clock news because of her. I have other choices of stations to watch and unless she returns I'll no longer watch CTV Ottawa news. - Cameron O'Nanski Brighton, Ontario

This is a shock to me and Bell should reconsider it's decision. There will be a backlash in viewership for sure!!!!

For years I have tuned into the new to be informed by Carol Anne. She and I are about the same age and I just could relate to her and her personality. If she is gone I will Definitely have to find another news program.

The news room seemed empty with out her presence last evening watching the CTV 6 o'clock news. It is absolutely disheartening to just ditch someone who has been a dedicated, loyal member of the news team and a prominent figure in our region. Never even let her sign off to all her dedicated viewers. SHAMEFULL!!
