It's not Carol Anne's time to go, after that many years, she should be given the priviledge to pick her departure date. She's done so much for the community; she deserves "respect". Do the right thing and bring her back!

Very disappointing, Bell Media. Carol Anne is a staple in our homes. Watching Graham Richardson stumble over his words (or inserting... long..... pauses....between words...) is painful! Carol Anne delivers the news with compassion and poise. There is no way I can sit through an hour newscast with that bumbling anchor you have left. You should consider yourself lucky if Carol Anne accepts your apology for your short-sightedness and your decision to reinstate her. The only people rejoicing over this are the folks who run CBC Ottawa.

It is so sad to see the "local" leaving the local news. Another step towards the death of local news. I will deeply miss the one person, since Max, that I could relate to over local and national stories ... I cringed with her, I laughed with her, and I teared up with her. I'll have to see if I continue to watch a newscast that I have watched for a lon, Lon time.

People make the news and others people report on it.
How many times has the clip of Walter Cronkite weeping, while announcing the death of JFK, been aired over the years? I would cautiously say thousands, and largely due to the fact that he 'connected' with his audience. He was an individual reporting on a topic that needed an individual perspective. Don't loose that individuality in that broadcast.
