This is a sign that the viewers preferences and community input does not matter to Bell Media's Head office.

Please reverse your decision or find another position worthy of this wonderful community leader. She embodies the definition of what Ottawa and Ottawans strive to be. Losing her is a loss to our community and lives.

I grew up watching Max Keeping and Carol Anne Mehan. She should have become top anchor and Graham the co-host. I haven't watched their broadcast as much as I used to but if Carol Anne goes, I won't be watching it at all. She has a calming nature about her and can deliver the news without getting the viewer all up in arms and stressed.

What a shock. My husband and I cannot believe this very unfortunate decision. We'll be watching a different news channel for the 6 o'clock news.

Carol Anne Meehan has a long tenure with Ottawa and is a well respected anchor. She deserves to keep her job!

For me, Carol Anne Meehan was the face of CTV Ottawa news, even when Max Keeping was the main anchor. She has also been the face of many philanthropic specials in the Ottawa area. Her value should not be dismissed so easily and so callously by Bell Media. Shame on them!
