Hi please reconsider your decision on the recent lay off of Ms Carol Anne Mehran. She didn't deserve this at all and after 27 years of service disgusting.She should have bin the one to decide she was done not you.It was a tasteless act on your part Bell media might want to take a step back and reconsider.

I have been watching CTV news since I was 10. During that time people like Max and Carol have been like family. We have lost Steve Madely at CFRA and I am sure Lowell Green very soon. We are losing all of the familiar personalities in a very short time. We need Carol returned to provide continuity and to allow more time for Graham become that "familiar voice". With all of these changes it will not be hard for my wife and I to change to CBC news at six. BRING HER BACK!

You'll lose a lot of viewers. I and most women our age felt heart broken for her when she lost her husband. We felt connect that as we age, things happen to our bodies and there's nothing we can do. To watch how strong she was through that was inspiring.

Not sure why Bell Media thought that Carol Anne was expendable. They lately have been bringing on "cute young things" with obviously little experience. We had both style and substance with Ms. Meehan - a most valuable and respected package. Viewers will be leaving the CTV Ottawa nightly news program for a good reason.
