Support CTV Ottawa News Anchor Carol Anne Meehan

Bring Carol Anne back....she IS the 6 pm news....PERIOD.

Max would roll over in his grave if he knew about this!! Shame on you Bell

Bring her back NOW

Bell Meida that was no way to treat a community leader that gave 27 faithful years to the CTV organization.

Please bring Carol Anne and Carolyn back. Should never been let go. More junior staff should be gone instead. Will be watching CBC instead.

Bring Carol Anne back!

Give her back the anchor job and give her a raise at the same time! She has been holding the news room together ever since Max Keeping left.

Please bring Carol Anne Meehan back into our living rooms. She is the CTV news at 6:00.

Bell media sucks Carol Anne Rocks!

I won't be watching anymore

Please re consider to bring back Carol Anne Meehan. I admired her knowledge & the news she has passed on.

Carol Anne should have been given the job of senior News Anchor after Max left. I no longer support ANY of CTV's programming.

Shocked and disgusted that Bell Media has fired Carol Anne Meehan!! She is a pillar of the Ottawa Community and we have invited into our home every evening at dinner for almost 25 years now. This is disgraceful to me - I will NOT be watching CTV news Ottawa anymore. Bring on CNN.

This was a HUGE mistake. Watching Carol Amne was like watching a daughter/sister/friend. Will even consider going with Rogers for my telephone.

Watch local news ratings go down. Really stupid move by Bell Media.

BRING HER BACK!!!!

I love to watch Carol Anne and Graham at 6 o'clock. I'm not always home, but I make sure to record the newscast. I was a bit surprised last night when, at the beginning of the broadcast, Graham didn't mention where Carol Anne was, as he usually does, until he said that she had been laid off. I was quite shocked and disappointed to hear that when to me, the face of CTV Ottawa is Carol Anne, Graham and JJ. Without the three of them, the newscast is never the same. She has become an important part of my day and even in some ways a part of my family. Someone I invite in every weekday evening to tell me what has gone on in the day. Please bring her back.

What was Bell Media thinking?

I sign the petition.

I have enjoyed watching Carol Anne for years and hope to be able to watch her for many more.
