This was a big part of her life and she is good at what she does. I personally think it's a darn shame.

I don't know what went into this decision but it sure wasn't any sort of desire to serve the viewing public. Until Carol Anne and the other affected employees are reinstated I will be watching other TV channels for the news. I will also be watching other TV channels for other programming wherever possible.

If you must fire someone..fire a high ranking manager as they are responsible for Bell's demise. Carol Anne Meehan has been a beautiful face of Ottawa for many years and she deserves and has earned our respect and support.

Bell has never cared for any of its customers in my 40+ years of trying to deal with them and that is why I switched all my services to Rogers 1 year ago
