This is the worst decision Bell Media has ever made. You should be ashamed that your profits are more important the the person. Carol Anne is like family to everyone & we are all saddened by this. Please reconsider.

Carol Anne Meehan is an Ottawa Icon...just as Max Keeping was. With all due respect to Graham, she is our "home girl", I grew up watching her, and I trust her. Whatever happened to "seniority" and loyalty??? It is an absolute disgrace of bell media (nope...capital letters NOT deserved :( ) to do such a thing.

This is so outrageous. To see someone who is so dedicated not only to her job but her community being treated this way. All this beautiful lady has done for your company and all of us and then to just throw her to the side of the road like that. DISGUSTING. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. But I guess you don't care and it doesn't concern you because you all still have your jobs. Whatever happened to seniority? If an anchor had to go it should have been Graham. 27 years.. come on guys . where is your respect? It's not a nice feeling getting tossed to the side of the road. I know I've been there. I gave 14yrs to a company and one out of the blue I was let go. This was over 3 years ago and to this day I am still not over the hurt. Bring back Carol Anne Meehan. Make right your wrong.

Bring back Carol Anne, it's like getting rid of one of the main characters off a tv show, just not right. I always looked forward to watching CTV Ottawa news at 6pm with Graham and Carol Anne, not sure how I can watch now.

Whenever I return home to Ottawa, watching the news with Carol Anne Meehan gives me a sense of comfort & tradition. She is professional, pleasant and a real lady. Please don't let her go.
