What a disgrace. An absolute treasure in Ottawa dumped like garbage by greedy CEOs of Bell Media. Will no longer be tuning into this channel and have blocked it on my TV.

ÇTV, in their uninformed decision to choose Carol Ànne Meehan for lay off, is losing a wealth of broadcasting experience and a strong employee with life experience, an asset )qkto staff, the community and viewers. I trust CTV will see fit to reverse this decision and keep this valuable person as our local anchor, another exceptional anchor as is Lisa Laflamme. I understand my decision to follow CBC News several times daily, beginning today, does not change your profit margins but I will do what is right for my conscience.

Please bring Carol Anne back to TV Ottawa.She has served almost 3 decades to this station as a co anchor with Max Keeping. Why after these years of service are you letting her go along with Carolyn Waldo who has put in the same number of years. Bring Carol Anne and Carolyn back.

Hey Bell...its more than news delivery...it is about community and Carol Anne Meehan helped make your news our community news.
There are so many news sources to pick from. It was the community feel that has kept me watching CTV until now. Yoy have just lost a viewer.

I will boycott CTV Ottawa until Carol Anne is re-hired with a huge apology to her. I will also boycott any business that advertises on CTV Ottawa. They should have let go a couple of their over-paid CEOs at their headquarters instead. And why did they let her go? Probably so that they do not have to pay her pension in full. Greedy pigs.
