Unless Carol Anne comes back we will no longer watch the morning or evening news on CTV. Not a good business decision when you lose long time viewers.

Shame on you Bell Media. After 27 years on CTV and not even given the opportunity to say good by to the community she has served so well I hope your advertisers will pull out as they see the number of viewers who are now watching anything but Bell Media channels.

Carole Anne Meehan has been is a pillar and an integral part of the cultural fabric of the Ottawa Valley community. We always looked forward to her thoughtful rendering of the news. Now she has left a great void. Please consider bringing her back.

Carol Anne is and has been an integral part of the Ottawa news landscape for 27 years and gives selflessly to many great causes as did her boss before her. Please reinstate this important contributor to the local community - Max would be so ashamed of this move.

It is entirely inconceivable that Bell Media fired Carol Anne. Further, it is unconscionable that they did not give her a chance to say goodbye to all her fans. She has been the heart and sole of CTV evening news. We have very little to do with Bell Media and will now have even less.

So unfair! I think she should get her job back, she has so many years of service and it's a face that we all love to have in our homes. Signing this petition for 4 adults in our home that would like to see Carol Anne get reinstated.

Shame on Bell for the treatment of Carol Anne Mehan, Carolyn Waldo and others. These veterans were what gave CTV Ottawa energy. The broadcast is boring and dull without them. CBC Ottawa news is now the better choice with Adrian and soon to return Lucy. Time to rid ourselves of anything Bell in my household. eg. phone, internet and TV.

Though I now reside in England, I can say that yes......watching the news being delivered by Carol Anne was a household tradition. To think, that people have stopped doing this because of the announcers is a big a pile of turd as most news is today and people like carol Anne made it bearable to watch !!

Please bring Carol Anne Meehan back on board. We have lost so many good people from CFRA/CTV already through different, tragic occurrences. Carol Anne is a top drawer employee, along with Carolyn Waldo and Ron Corbett. So many people don't like the new (hiphop or whatever) stations, or the CBC, and we need our old friends on CTV/CFRA. This is Ottawa and they are Ottawa - bring them back!!!

Could not believe the news broadcast last night CJOH at 6pm Saturday November 21.......2 ANCHORS???? for a little bit of news on Saturdays and only 1 anchor on weeknights.....this is ridiculous! Bring back Carol Anne!
