We need to get Carol back on the primary anchor desk somehow. Bell Media, it is time to SELL CJOH to someone who cares about the community...even if it is a foreign company.

We watch CTV news because of Carol Anne Meehan. Her delivery of the news in genuine and honest. Bell Media has made a big mistake. Her contribution to the City of Ottawa is important. I really hope to see her return.

Hey Bell, reverse that decision releasing Carole Anne Meehan, it's just plain wrong! We've been watching her for many years especially as co-anchor on the 6pm news most days of the week. She's been part of 'our' family for many years going back to when Max was alive. To release her is a disgraceful & heartless action as she's served our community & CTV for many years. When the time comes, let her retire gracefully as did Max & Steve Mabely, NOT to be 'thrown out' for the sake of saving dollars. Shame on you Bell Media!

Carol Anne Meehan added a human factor to the six o'clock news.
She was intelligent, funny and someone people could definitely relate to. Big mistake Bell Media, please bring her back!

I have enjoyed watching Carol Anne for many years. She is warm, professional, yet relatable. Hope this is not a case where the people who have worked the longest (and are probably making the most money) are sacrified for young cheaper talent.
