So sad! I think this was a heartless decision. Carol Anne is a big part of Ottawa and the community.

Ottawa is a small town and we get attached to people here, Carol Anne
has served this city well and we'd like to keep her until she decides to go.

Carol-Anne Meehan is the model for what a news anchor person should be. She is even keeled and warm. She is part of family, just like Max Keeping was

What are you thinking by cutting out such a critical part of CTV Ottawa? Carol Anne is the heart & soul and warmth of the 6pm news and without her it's just a 'cold' reading the facts of the day. To cut her from CTV Ottawa just shows a total lack of thought & a total disregard for the viewers of this station who've had her 'in our home' for all these years. NO Bell, you're wrong, apologize & reinstate her ASAP if she choses to return.
FESS UP & admit you made a mistake!

I think it is disgraceful how both Carol Anne Meehan and Carolyn Waldo were treated. Bring them both back. They certainly deserve more respect than this.

I may only be 18 years old, but Carol Anne has been a dinner-time staple in my family for as long as I remember! Wishing her all the best.
