The election coverage would NOT have been the same without Carol Anne!! She is a symbol of Ottawa journalism. She is 53 years old!! Keep this powerful woman on CTV!!

Please 580 CFRA, Bell Media . . . who ever you are.
Bring back Carol. She has not only been the reason that I watched Max Keeping and hung on every word of her morning radio commentaries . . . but that, up temp vibrato in her voice, that could tell you it was polished ice and gale force winds, would also tell you to find a nice air conditioned facility to hang out in on the hottest days in recent history.
Carol Anne is as much the history of Ottawa, and to me, as the Parliament Buildings, the changing of the guard, and . . . OTTAWA.
Please reconsider and bring back the voice of Ottawa!

What ever was Bell Media thinking, to let the news staff go in this fashion. At the very least they should have had time to bid their listeners farwell!!!!

Max and Carol Anne had/have been fixtures in Ottawa homes for so many years!
We no longer have Max and now the execs at CTV just throw Carol Anne out like a piece of old meat without proper notice or anything.
Should be ashamed of yourselves.
