Carol Anne is a tremendously positive community icon and role model, who does an amazing job supporting community events. Her dismissal would be a great loss. Surely Bell Media will listen to their consumers and reconsider?

I understand streamlining for cost benefit. Perhaps some of the people that sit higher up the scale that have beautiful offices and crazy pay checks. Eastern Ontario deserves to have some say and to have their say heard.

I can't believe that a giant such Bell Media would treat their long service employee in such matter. It is un acceptable and display a cowardist and lack respect to a loved public figure.

At a time when local news coverage is diminishing, Carol Anne Meehan was a strong identifiable "Anchor" to the community. Please bring her back.

Bell Media what were you thinking? Oh you weren't!!! Seems like another decision by someone in a new suit in Ottawa or Toronto, who just doesn't care about other people. Ms. Meehan & Ms. Waldo were local staples at CTV Ottawa & we both enjoyed watching them from our living room. This is just another reason to not be bothered with Bell products.

Richardson was hired much later than Meehan. Why not keep Carol Anne and axe Richardson instead?
