How could u ctv. She is why I watch the news. Max would be so angry. She is a part of my day and many others. She is too good for u. I hope she is taken by another network who will appreciate her. I am disgusted.

Shame on Bell Media, for all the work Carol Ann put in for the community and to treat her this way, not allowing a proper goodbye it is not right.

Shame on you firing her. She didn't even get the chance to say goodbye. Shameful. She is so dedicated and she learned with the best, Max Keeping. She has to get her job back because you will loose many viewers.

Bell Media: you made a bad decision by laying off Carol Ann Mehan on CTV Ottawa. Was this a Toronto based decision ?...if so, you do not realize how valued she is to Eastern Ontario viewers.

CTV has a nerve 'laying off' an employee after a 27 year career!
If the scaling down staff is absolutly necessary, isn't it more appropriate to have offered her the Golden Handshake instead?

Carol Anne provided a local presence to the news at 6. We welcomed her into our home every night. Without her on air, I will no longer be watching CTV Ottawa News at 6.

I am absolutely fed up with the treatment of loyal, competent employees by greedy corporations who only care about the bottem line. We will be cancelling our Bell internet, phone and cable package. Our only weapon to fight greedy corporations is to boycott their product.
