I've watched her on the 6 o'clock news since her early day on cjoh...I was just a little girl then. It would be a terrible loss for ctv....a rare gem in the media world.

Shame on you for laying off a local celebrity that brought the news into our homes for about 3 decades. I hope instead of a layoff, she was given a generous retirement package. She prompted CTV Ottawa throughout the community beyond the city of Ottawa. She is also a single mother who probably needs this employment. Shame Bell Media Shame! Decision makers who doesn't live here has no idea.

Carol Anne was like part of the family we all sat down to watch the news at 6PM. She knew the Ottawa Valley well and was so down to earth. We are so grateful to have had her for 27yrs and hope we see her smiling face back on a network.

Carol Anne has been there for Ottawa and the surrounding area for all of her 27 years.
Where is the heart in media these days?
It looks like you waited until Max Keeping passed away to get rid of Carol Anne. That is so cold.
Now, I have to find another way to get my news, as watching CTV is no longer appealing.
