Where is the respect for the Ottawa community. This is crazy, getting rid of Carol Anne who has contributed to Ottawa for 27 years. It's a lot more than a news anchor position.

It wouldn't be the same without Carol Anne Meehan, who has been around for a long time & does a fantastic time & is a big part of Ottawa. I don't think I will continue to watch CTV news if you wont bring her back.

Carol Anne Meehan is part of the Ottawa community and Bell Media's decision to lay her off just demonstrates that the almighty dollar matters more to the company than community.

This is absolutely disgraceful and callous. I will no longer watch the 6 p.m. ctv ottawa news cast if Carol Anne is not there.
