Bring back Carol Anne

I have a Daniel Alfredsson jersey with many autographs, but always kept the numbers on the back for something special... Alphie signed on the first number one and on the other, I have Max, Graham and our dear Carol Ann Meehan I treasure this jersey and remember so well how Carol Ann took time to chat with me at a Senators game. I find her an amazing woman and wish her strength during these ridiculous recent events. She deserves respect and dignity... Shame on Bell Media for the way they treated Carol Ann and Carolyn... Still time to make amends... I have been a faithful viewer for many years and I will seriously consider switching my allegiance... Hang in there Carol Ann and know you ate loved by soooooooo many. Sincerely thanking you for your overwhelming testimony as a wonderful person.

We've watched Carol Anne Meehan since we moved to Ottawa in 1989. It is totally unconscionable that she be let go at all, let alone in this way. She is a part of the fabric of this community and we will not longer be watching CTV news.

so unfair

It is terrible to lay off someone who has given so much to this community. Shame on Bell Media!

That much profit in a year and you get rid of her??? What a disgrace.

Shocking news! Carol Anne brings such a professional, but also warm, presence to our community and the news reporting.

Advertisers show your power and pull ads from ctv

Bring her back!

Never should have happened. Bring her back!!

This is a prime example of how big companies only think of their bottom line. Bell Media is showing they don't care what their viewers want. Viewers need to make good use of their channel changers if Bell Media doesn't reconsider and bring her back .

The world of national media is the wrong way to go. You people run a heartless company and have been gouging the Canadian people for far too long. You are so desensitized you don't even hear let alone listen when people say they hate Bell. Emagine working for a company that the first thing the average person says about them is that they hate it! ( company ) I think it's weird that people can hate a company but you people have pulled it off. Goal reached I guess!!! Can't wait for more competition and lots of it!

I can't live without electricity or banks. But CJOH can officially go

this is discusting .and inhumane

Carol Ann is bells Media best asset and should not have been fired.

I am switching channels until decision is reversed.

bad decision. Carole Anne is the heart of CTV news

I will switch to other news channels as the CJOH news will not be part of my viewing anymore. unless the familiarity or Carole Anne Meehan in reinstated, she's part of our culture in Ottawa and has garnered so much respect from the viewers throughout our city , to have let her go, is unjust and unfair

Disgusting corporate profits. How can you sleep at night and talk to your children. Hope you enjoy.

I could see this coming. There is no difference between CTV Ottawa or Toronto. They all look alike, sound alike and are interchangeable. The new gang don't measure. It will take forever for this group to become part of our community. Lots of pin headed suits. I will not be watching CTV news again. I have depended on this station since it's first roll out. It is now identical to all the other stations. It will die like The Citizen or the Journal. I guess mature people are too expensive. Good luck Carol Ann your class and sensitivity will be missed.
