Of course I'll sign this. I grew up with Carol Anne and Max. I don't want to see her go. But, let's just make sure that this is what Carol Anne wants. Maybe after 27 yrs she's welcoming of the change (so long as they paid her the appropriate and fair severence).

I hope Bell Media will realize their error in the laying- off of Carol Anne Meehan. She is a very highly respected anchor and community driven leader in Ottawa and much greater eastern Ontario. She also added a true sense of humanity to the news on Bell Media's CJOH news presentation; which sadly seems somewhat lacking with the new format.

Carol Anne we have chatted about this and that over the last years. We don't live in Ottawa anymore but 6PM if we could, meant you and Max.
Bell Media, I have seen to many staff small and large and had to make some hard decisions though agreed not to your magnitude. But large or small makes no matter.
Even when the $$$ was an issue would I have conducted myself as you have - employees are the backbone of any business and make it or break it!!!
Now about that $183M???

I am quite upset about these layoffs and especially about bell media's decision to lay off Carol Anne, Carolyn and Lois. These women were great journalists. Shame on you Bell Media!
