This was so shocking to hear that you would actually get rid of one of your greats especially at a time like this. We need all the charitable, humanitarians we can get and we have all grown to love Carol Anne and now you take her away from us. Please bring her back. She deserves this job as she has worked hard to get there and we don't want anyone else.

I think this is a travesty for a multi-million dollar corporation to use people's income as a way to shave on its bottom line. Carol-Ann is a pillar to the community and I cannot image that saving on her salary will save Bell $$$$. What a joke, I will nver watch CTV again if this is how they treat their own people. No one is safe.....

I extremely disappointed in how the big corporation can dismiss someone that mean so much to the community and that everyone can identify with. Mrs Meehan has given her heart and soul to this community and this is how she is rewarded! What a shame. By the way I am now switch to the french news and no longer watch CTV.

Max Keeping and Carol-Anne Meehan were the face of CTV Ottawa News at 6 and the only reason i tuned in to your broadcast for 20 years. Kinda disappointed Graham Richardson is flopping around from broadcast to broadcast. Not impressed at all with him as the lone anchor of my news at 6. will be looking elsewhere for my news now! Sorry to see you go Carol-Anne. thank you for providing me with an honest approach to our city's news year after year! i will miss your friendly smile and familiar face! really sickened by the way Bell has handled this. I would expect this type of behavior from CNN. not CTV/Bell
