It's a shame that Bell Media chose profits over popular anchorwomen Carol Anne Meehan and Carolyn Waldo not to forget Rick Gibson of CFRA. They are good professional that know how to present news. I guess Bell Media prefer poor professionalism as Matt Skube. He's the one they should have cut!! BRING BACK CAROL ANN AND CAROLYN!!!!

Unbelievable decision and incredible insensitivity for a lady who has endured a lot over the past few years.

Surprised and appalled by this decision. Carol Anne didn't just deliver the news, she pulled us in as a community. Her empathy and compassion were evident in her reporting and that created a bond with her viewers. I'm outraged that a company can treat a 27 year employee so callously -- not even allowing her a final newscast to say her goodbyes. Not the kind of company I want to support. Watched CBC news this evening and will continue to get my news elsewhere now.

Bring Carol Anne back! She's the draw. Her presence is so important! People connect with her. The good things she brings are too many to list. Without Carol Anne, you may as well close the door and say good bye--it will never be the same.

Carol Anne Meehan is the best. Shame on CTV. A real Lady. She deserved the right to step down when she was good and ready.

Please bring back Carol Anne Meehan as she is the most trusted news reporter in Ottawa. She has worked hard to bring up-to-date events in to the community and especially with the Children's Hospital.

Carol Anne Meehan is the best they're was the best they're is and the best female anchor they're ever will be. She's like family to many that has been watching her since her first day. Please bring her and the other's back. They will be sadly missed by many. :(
