I am shocked that Carol Anne Meehan would be laid off. If cuts were necessary why cut her and not Graham as we just lost Max. Bell doesn't seem to care what Ottawa viewers want. Very sad days in Ottawa.

Carol-Anne is amazing! Put her back on as the anchor rather than Graham Richardson! She has been part of our Ottawa community far longer and has earned the respect she well deserves here. If she's not hired back, I'm switching to CBC news!

Carol Anne has been a loyal member of our community for many years. She has been in my home every night for the past 25 years. She was dedicated to our community, participating in charity events for years, a real trusted member of the community. Your firing of her was cold , callous and dis rspectful to her and the community. A station that belonged to the community now has no personal contact , it's just business. Shame on you , reported millions in profits, and you have lost what people are about. No wonder why we see the destruction in our society with terrorism and loss of moral and values. Decisions like this driven by lost your moral compass. You don't have an understanding of family or community. Shame on those of you at the table making these decisions. There are other ways to accomplish restructuring.

Shame on the corporations that make decisions from the thrones of Corporate Executives that have little compassion for front line people. In a world that is in dire need of empathy, this corporate decision is an affront to positive change. I will make my voice heard by choosing to support corporations that respond to the needs of the people, not their own pocketbooks! I will also encourage others to do likewise.
