This move by Bell Media is a crime....Carol Anne has seniority over Graham Richardson.....let him go...he can move on...she is a middle age woman and with dedicated service, should have been able to make her own decision on retirement...shame on you Bell Media...shift to CBC fir news till she returns...the people are speaking...listen to them

I for one am not going to watch this news show anymore. I have no respect for companies that treat employees like Carol Ann Meehan , Carolyn Waldo and the ones whose names we don't know, so badly.

Of late CTV Ottawa has just become a platform for self promotion. The "Local News" has been replaced with imported cheap content, mostly from American sources ... often not having much relevance to the local Ottawa scene. Now with Carol Anne and Carolyn gone (is Michael next?) there is not much reason to continue with this station. perhaps it's time for the CRTC to revoke its licence since part of CTV mandate is to provide support to the community in which it resides.. Bell Media needs to rethink what it is doing here and reconsider what it owes the community. it could start by reinstating these two fine people and consider hiring a few more reporter to better cover community events. For the time being I am switching to CBC and Global!

Carol Anne has been the face of CTV news since she started with Max. The news is not the same without her. She is loved by the community. Obviously this decision was made by someone who doesn't know Carol Anne, her work, or what she means to the community. Poor decision on your part Bell Media. You are only looking at money, not taking into account the impact your decisions have. Bring back Carol Anne

I say we start a petition and let Bell know,hire her,Waldo and Shirley McLEAN back or we will start encouraging people to drop all bell services,my package,tv,phone and internet is $150 a mth,surly to God we can get 5000 to start dropping bell,that would be a total of $750,000.00 or 3/4,s of a million dollars a month

Reprehensible.
I can't believe Bell Media treats it's employees with such lack of respect and distain. It's time to switch from Bell. Bring back Carol Anne Meehan and the rest of the people who were let go so abruptly. These are the same people who help you get the ratings you get.
