I think that Bell should re think the removal of two local ladies that brought us new, both local and national while many times suffering their own losses and still soldiering on. Shame on Bell

It makes absolutely no sense to get rid of Carolyn! She is such a huge part of the community and a comforting friendly face who has tatefully delivered the good, bad and ugly news to Ottawans for far too long to just kick her to the curb in such a callous way. Wake up and fix your mistake.

You would think after 27 years a person as caring as Carol Anne would have been allowed to finish her career in Ottawa. Where did respect, and consideration go. For me she should have been put on the center stage as a roll model to the younger reporters. Carol Anne has been the leader in the news cast since the loss of her influence Max. She has no doubt filled in much of the void which was lost upon Max Keepings departure, and those were big shoes to fill. I think CTV has made a large mistake. CTV Ottawa if you do not see this mistake, you will in time, for I believe your evening news viewer rating are going to drop. G. Richardson is just an ok reporter in my opinion, but without Carol Anne at his side your news cast at 6 will lose attention, warmth, caring, and even viewers feeling a sense of secure which Carol Anne could create. When she would deliver, it was like she was talking to you personally. I strongly recommend that you CTV reverse this meaningless decision, or you will find out it was a wrong one in your ratings.
