It's our TV news and she is our news anchor. We pay to view CTV News and therefore I cannot understand why you should feel you can tell us what to like. Kindly return her. I had CHOSEN TO RETURN TO BELL, now I think I should stay where I am, with Rogers, so I'll stay where I am. See, my choice.

CTV just made its worst decision ever in firing Carol Anne. It was done in an appallingly underhanded, and abrupt way, and CTV just lost a viewer. Twenty+ years experience versus Graham's 5 years, and she's the one who was fired? Shame on CTV.

This news was such a shock. How can management make such a misguided decision. Carol Anne was like a friend to viewers and the community; I immediately sent a "Shame on You" note to Scott Henderson, a BellMedia VP when I heard. Looking at CBC News now.

These shoes cannot be filled.
Anyone can do the job but few people can create a sense of family in our community. She is one of them. She has shared her personal life and reached out to others. Has made Ottawa feel like a family each evening in the news. Don't let this unique and important part of this family go. Big mistake you are making to Ottawa and CTV.

CTV Ottawa (as opposed to the beloved CJOH) has never been a favourite. Max, Carol Anne, Regional Contact, they represented us. Here we like our news delivered by people who are part of us. We'd love to see Carol Anne back as our only news anchor here in the valley. Good luck!

Bell media has got it wrong. Get rid of Richardson who has no personality nor senority at the station. I have watched CBC local news since this happened
