Honestly I am in shock give Carolyn back her job.she has done so much for the community.her and graham Richardson make a good team.ctv is not the same without her.please do what right give her back her job.

The way this dismissal was handled was totally inappropriate. If she is to be fired.....she should be given time to say goodbye to her viewers. She is very generous with her time and is part of our community unlike her other "cohost". Please reconsider this terrible decision.

I love local news and the experience of the core group of anchors. Mrs. Meehan has been a beloved member of the CTV news room for decades and should be treated with more respect than this.

I am very saddened by this news Carol Ann is an icon in this city. She has been on the news for as long I can remember. What will CHEO telethon be without her. I am glad that Max is not here to see this. 27 years - where is the respect ?

I think it is disgusting for CTV/BellMedia to let Carol Anne go. She has been and is a huge part of the local Ottawa CTV news. She has been a part of all our evenings for what seems like forever including with Max Keeping. There is absolutely no reason for this other than corporate greed and disconnected people at the top who obviously place no value on community and how much Carol Anne devotes of herself to the Ottawa community.

Bring Carol Anne back. She is a great asset to CTV, she is a reporter who is not afraid to show emotion which I personally like . Her warmth and caring personality reaches me every time I watch her. i watched the news tonight and did not enjoy the broadcast, actually boring as there was no interaction just plain old talking, like reading from the pages. Bring her back.

Bell media will be out of business restructuring by taking the foundation away. I have noticed lots of changes on tv and radio and disgusted with alot. Why don't we hear Trish Owens in the morning anymore except to give the news??!?! Unbelievable tje treatment of human beings!
