Can we start another petition to encourage Webster's dictionary to change the definition of "disreputable" to simply read "CTV"? And if they need a synonym too, how about "Bell Media"?

This total disregard of an employees reliability, responsibility, respect of audience, respect for production values, and their employer. The very employer who ignores their merit so some executive can show more profit for a bigger bonus by sacking these very superb employees that make the product stand out. Shameful greedy idiots.

I am deeply saddened by what has happened to Carol Anne Meehan. She is one reason that I watch CTV news. I think that she is a HUGE asset to our community and to CTV. I think that this will really impact CTV ratings. I for one do not feel any loyalty to Bell Media if that is the way they treat their employees. Carol Anne, thank you for all that you do for this community.

The 6 o'clock news show has turned into a "good old boy's club". I don't know what brought about this lay off, but letting someone go at her age smacks of discrimination!! Bring her back!

I am concerned that Bellmedia fired two exceptional women. The news will look like the "old boys club" now. We are going back in time. This particular community oriented journalist has been part of the fabric of our community in good and bad times. It was not the right person to let go of. Please reconsider.
