Carol Anne Meehan has come into our home every evening at 6 p.m. Carol Anne is part of our family. Years ago when she would go to the grocery store called Robinsons opposite the old location CJOH on Merivale - she was like a friend and would chat. How upsetting when I read in the paper today that she was let go. Carol Anne has been on CHEO telethon for years and other fund raisers. How sad to treat someone like this so callously. Please reconsider your decision.

VERY disappointed in Bell Media, you laid off a member of OUR community. Someone WE as a community care about and watch in OUR homes every night, shame on you. Bring Carol Anne Meehan back home to our community news and back into our homes.

This is ridiculous. Carol Anne Meehan is one of the most watched news anchors on one of the most watched news programs in Canada. It's silly to mess with this program.

Carol Anne Meehan was so much more than a news anchor. She supported charities, was involved in her community and gave back.....This was an ill advised decision......
