Ya 187 million in profit. That isn't enough. I bet those two woman have put in more time then the one that fired them. It's just crazy. The one that made the final decision, where are they from? Couldn't be Ottawa. They wouldn't be stupid enough. After making 187 million in profit you took what people cared for out of the nation's capitals news. And that's a business decision? Well I won't do business with them. They don't know how. So I'm staying with Telus, Rogers. And to think reasoning is 187 million isn't enough. Well I bet $10 out of my $65 000 before taxes income that you guys are as dumb as stones. Ahhhhhh Nevermind. You wouldn't pay it. If you did you would offer it off my bell bill. Thankfully I'm good at buisness and don't do any with bell. So keep the $10 and put it on your 187 million. It's all your getting from me. And I'll catch all the news on more of your dumb decisions on cbc

I will no longer watch CTV Ottawa news at 6 pm unless you rehire her back. Shame on Bell for firing her. Another reason I am fed up with Bell and plan on selling my shares too!!!

Sadly Bell (namely Richard Gray) never listens to this community. Back in the day when CTV took over the NewRO/A-Channel, he promised that the two entities would co-exist even though there was a bit of overlap. A-Channel had a small but growing and strong following.
Well that was all BS! He slowly dismantled A-channel and it's all gone now. Despite our objections. The master plan was to buy and kill off A-Channel all along. So these firings are part of a grand plan. I think the fact that Max passed away has cleared the path for them. Sad but true.

Carol Anne Meehan has been a part of our daily lives for a very long time. I think your taking her off the air and away from the public who consider her family and the way you have done it is ubforgivable. I am seriously considering switching my alliance to another Chanel. Please reinstate her. I feel this is an unbelievable mistake on your part and one you should acknowledge as being a temporary act of poor judgement. Got rid of the wrong one. Why let go the anchor who delivered the news with few errors and lots of charm and sincerity, yet keep the other anchor who constantly makes errors, has a stuttering delivery and seems as pompous as Peter Mansbridge. Bad move by Bell and the last you will see of me. Sorry Jj not enough to keep me. Bring Carol Anne back.

I lived in Ottawa for many years and Carol was one of the best news castor next to Max Keeping. I thing you will suffer great loss if you let Carol go.

You let the wrong anchor person go. Ms. Meehan know how to communicate with the people of Ottawa. After more than 20 years of watching the news on CTV, we will no longer be doing so. A very BAD decision on Bell Media's part.
