awful decision! letting Carol Anne go after all her dedication to her job and the company.... Carol Anne Meehan was the heart and soul of the broadcast. (Apparently Bell Media has neither)...she wasn't even given the courtesy to say goodbye on air after what she's done for the Ottawa Valley-she's such a dedicated community builder --CFRA and CTV are being ruined by Bell...Admit you made a mistake and give these incredible ladies their jobs back.... there is now little reason to continue watching

It was shocking to hear that Carol Anne was fired, she was a great news reporter and a lovely Lady, she was very pleasant. I agree she should be back at the news.

The CTV news will not be the same without this wonderful anchor. Like Max, she was a well respected and trusted journalist and a media staple to so many Ottawa region homes. She will be missed!

Obviously the people who fired her have no inkling as to what the media is. It is more than a moneymill. It is part of a community. I suggest heads at the top should roll.

Wow ... What a horrible shock! CJOH/CTV news will never b he same without Carol Anne Meehan and Carolyn Waldo. These women are so very involved in the local community and have such great hearts. The big heartless corporate machine strikes again. Firing good people for no doubt senseless reasons. Such a huge mistake and sadly shocking news. It won't be a surprise if the level of CHOJ/CTV news viewership drastically declines.

Really, how could you dismiss Carol Anne after all she has done and what she has been through. A sad and disappointing day for the CTV family and all her loyal viewers.

Loved her since she's been on CJOH-CTV... She is a pilar of the community! I was totally shocked to learn the news on tv that night!...UNBELIEVABLE! She has contributed so much in charities, community & social services... especially in the name of the station! SHAME on Bell Media!
