It is a travesty! Caol Anne is amazing and her tenure combined with her knowledge, expertise, professionalism, connection to viewers makes her a solid asset. Laying her off is just not right.

I was shocked to hear the news from my daughter the other day. Carol Ann is like family to many viewers, including us. We watched the 6pm CTV news everyday as did our children - they continued to watch when they left home. Max, Carol Ann and JJ Clarke are/were a part of our everyday lives - definitely a special connection with many viewers . Losing Max as anchor at the time and his passing was difficult enough. But now Carol Ann! You will lose viewers..... Please do the right thing - bring her back.

If you have to get rid of one anchor, get rid of the man. Carol Anne is much better at the job and viewers identify with her.

I will be watching the news on another channel from now on.
Carol Anne did not deserve to be let go. She has been there along time, alot longer than others. So sad, I enjoyed listening to her stories.
