Carol Anne Meehan was one of the main reasons we chose to watch CTV for our local news every evening. We are appalled that Bell Media would not allow her to say goodbye to her viewers in a dignified manner after so many years of service to the community. We hope she either is given an opportunity to anchor the local news again and would definitely watch whichever station has her as the anchor.

Very disgusted with CTV for laying off Ms. Meehan, Apparently only the young, blonde women, are suitable for an anchor woman on this network. This tells me all I need to know about this station. I will be watching CBC from now on.
