UNBELIEVABLE!!! She lost her husband..... We lost Max and WE DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MS MEEHAN !!!!! She's our own celebrity in so many way .... Why do companies get rid of the best one and keep the not so good ?? Is that because she doesn't kiss your behind??

Max would roll over in his grave if he knew that Carol Anne had been terminated. She was the soul of the evening news, along with Max, when they co-anchored the news. Graham, although I am sure he is a nice guy, has no personality. Find a replacement for him and not Carol Anne!!!

What a shame that Carol Anne lost her job. What a bad decision. Carol Anne brought warmth, personality and that Valley touch to the 6: news. CJOH News will never be the same without her. Cowards waited till Max Keeping was gone! What would he have to say about this stupid, ill thought out move? Please bring her back with a huge apology. Thank you

I was very sad to hear about the dismissal of Carol Anne Meehan. I have watched her since the first day she appeared with Max Keeping. The news at 6:00 is not the same and I will miss her very much. She is someone who needs to be brought back to CJOH NEWS. I don't believe Bell's reasoning! Hope this will help you Carol Anne.

I live in Gananoque and always watch CTV news with Carol Ann Meehan. She is such a vital part of this program and your community. She is the face of the Ottawa community, not the the other anchor who replaced Max Keeping. I will switch to CBC if she is not reinstated as I don't agree with your choices

Carol Anne has developed credibility and the confidence of her viewers as a result of her on-air reporting, her warmth and the fact that she participates actively in the community. Bad decision on the BellMedia "suits" who don't understand why CTV Ottawa was #1. I will hold my nose and watch CBC or CHCH with Taz.

Sorry and shocked to hear of Carol Annes' dismissal. Not sure how/why one of the faces of the Ottawa Community would even be considered in the layoff process.
It is a reality that companies and corporations must be profitable and one way is to reduce salaries but nor sure if Bell has really thought this one thru. Will struggle to remain a viewer of this news broadcast which is unfair to the ones that remain.
Citynews at 6 will be my choice going forward.
Truly hope all goes well for you Carol Anne in the future.
