She is a wonderful person.

Carol Anne Meehan got a pretty deal I think. She also has 2 kids to raise. Haven't noticed too many men losing their jobs at the 6PM news. And she was there a lot longer than most of them 27years..
Withour her on the news it just isn't worth watching anymore. So I have now switched to CBC at 6pm.
She deservs to have her job back. So do the right thing, never mind the $$$

Disgraceful ! BCE's quarterly profit was 183 million, up a million from last year. And revenue was up 4.1 %. How can you justify layoffs of not only Meehan, but all other employees losing their jobs at the station ? Shame on you Bell Media/BCE !!

I was totally blown away to hear that Bell Media had cut anchor woman Carol Anne Meehan.She is the one that makes the news ,she has more seniority .I am thinking I will not be watching the news anymore will look to CBC .I am very upset with this decision.

Carol Ann is a community leader and pillar. She did not even get an opportunity to say goodbye to the community that has cherished her for 25+ years!! What a terrible way to treat such a wonderful individual. I've already switched to CBC.

Was very saddened to see such an injustice,also much better on air than Graham so will have to change news channel

I always enjoy seeing Carol Anne on CJOH. She is a good role model showing compassion, kindness and she has a good sense of humour. Please re-instate her. Thank you.

Is it just a coincidence that Bell Media laid off Carol Anne shortly after the passing of Max Keeping? Shame on Bell Media for removing their best news anchor and wonderful promoter being involved in so many charities.

Carol Anne has been a part of our supper time routine for many years. She has become a friend to so many of us over the years. By laying her off Bell Media is going to lose many of the loyal viewers of its evening newscast. Shame on Bell Media!
