CTV Ottawa news at 6pm is not the same without Carol Anne. Bell obviously doesn't care about what the viewers want.

We need people like Carole Anne at the forefront of our community. She is a local and someone who gives back to the community in many ways. Please reconsider bringing her back.

What a sad day for television in the Ottawa Valley with the dismissal of these two ladies. Obviously Bell Media will not listen to the 18,000 people that signed the petition so perhaps all of the businesses in Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley should curtail advertising with this station until they realize their mistake and reinstate the heart and soul of the evening news. How else can we get our message to them to make them admit they made a mistake.

It was disgusting in the manner Carol Anne was treated but this is typical of Bell treating there employees as bad as there customers. Back to watching CBC news wont be watching CTV again...

The way that Bell Media treated Carol Anne was reprehensible! The people who should be let go are the executives who think that treating employees this way is acceptable. Carol Anne will land on her feet and will go on to do more great work - it will be CTV's loss, because we will get to see much more of her! Hang in there, Carol Anne.

We have shared our evening meal with you for a very long time and you will be sorely missed. You are an amazing professional who brightened our days and you did not deserve this type of treatment. Life has better things in store for you. Hopefully, you can join another network so we can have you back with us again. Please know how much we care.
