For good reason, the voters in Oregon have capped the amount of taxes the City can collect from its citizens. City Staff has quietly found a way to keep boosting its salaries and benefits. In the next 20 years Coos Bay City Staff will be collecting an average of over 2 million dollars a year in salaries and benefits from city waste water accounts.

Are we trying to get rid of the younger generations trying to build a life here, raise families and contribute to our community? This is only a small part of the problem in the broad scope of coos county's failing economy and job market as well as their out of date, overlooked school systems.
I"m not in Forest Grove,,,have no idea where that came from,,I'm in Coos Bay Oregon!
Stop this craziness!!! And they are putting the new sewer treatment plant below sea level and right in the way of a tsunami zone!! Hope it happens before they build it!! What kind of idiots put a treatment plant right in the direct way of an ocean event.
Most companies are not getting raises at this time, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
They have to live on a fixed budget just like the rest of us do. Let's stop city halls creative book keeping.
This is unconscionable and irresponsible. Heads should roll for this.

Corruption! This needs to stop. Coos Bay will become a ghost town with people moving out!
