Age Appropriate Books for Westfield Washington Students

These subjects are not appropriate for elementary school-aged children, especially when outside the care of their parents and counselors. Please help our kids stay focused on the morality system of their parents and guardians.

it is not the school's responsibility to raise our children. It is the parents duty to guide, protect and direct their children according to their values, not "the state's" and their overreach into the lives of families.

These subjects, that drift from fact based learning into opinions should be addressed in the home by the parents, it is our job and responsibility, not the school.

I have multiple grandchildren and will also be placing a foster to adopt child in Westfield schools. I feel very strongly that sex education and morality is something to be taught by parents and not the school. We do not want our children and grand children to be taught any of this critical race theory and it is our right to say NO! We teach our children to respect the rights of others and we are petitioning the school to respect our rights, as well

We want our children to learn good things. Not to divide. We want truth, not lies . We believe in Freedom . Freedom to choose.

Please keep the lgbtq agenda out of our public schools. It’s a lie.

Requiring parental permission makes sense.

The comment I just posted says I’m in New Castle; however, I’m currently sitting in my car in my garage in Westfield, IN!

Access should be limited at the elementary level & parental permission needed.

Counting names from outside of the school district let alone outside of the country is misrepresenting support

Westfield is asking teaches to discuss with students inappropriate topics such as gender identity issues, etc. Many of the teachers do not feel these moral issues should be discussed during student class time.

Let children be children and parents decide what to share on those topics. This is absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate.

There are many books young children should not have easy access to, especially without parental knowledge. May these books find a home elsewhere, Not in an elementary school library.
