I agree that parents should be the ones to deal with these issues with their children. Schools must partner with parents on this topic, not attempt to parent behind their backs.

Elementary school age children should not have access to this material. These discussions should take place in the home with parents. Or , at the very least, with the school counselor.

While I do not believe in censorship, I do believe parents have the right and responsibility to be informed about what our children are exposed to in a school setting.

These books should be available through counselors in the school district. It is still the responsibility of adults to care for children through guidance and conversation.

Any sexual content has no business in the school. That education should be handled in the family.

It is highly inappropriate to offer such books to elementary school children as they haven’t been exposed to sexual content. Please remove them!
