Track and field helped pay for college and kept my stress levels down. It also provides a wide range of friendship opportunities which lead to networking!

Being a part of WKU T&F team 2003-2007 was a highlight of my college experience and taught me many things I have carried with me throughout life after college.

I know a current member of the Women's Track Team, personally, I know how hard she has worked to get there as well as to remain there and compete at a top level, as I am sure all of the other athletes have. It would be a tragedy for some of these still impressionable young men and women to have their school give up on them and their program. Please reconsider, as this is all some of them have to keep them focused on having a better life in the future.

What a disappointment. As a parent of a student at WKU it seems as if the smaller sports continue to be at risk. Students need these activities and it makes a school body more well rounded.

Please keep WKU Track & Field funding in place. This program has been successful for many years, lets continue to promote it and watch it progress.

I think the Track & Field team has been beyond successful with no true recognition. I often hated that when I was attending western there were no home meets for me to watch their Greatness. Coach Jenkins is a true Hilltop per who has the most consistent run of athletic success that other sports at WKU still strives towards.

Some people need sports to get away from frustration in life! It maybe the only thing they have to turn to!
