The mental health of children needs to be taken in to consideration just as much as the virus is. The ramifications to their mental health is far worse than this virus is!!!

Kids in college now.. but masks need to go at all levels of education.. just scare tactics.. those with immunity is not being considered

Although I am not a parent to a student, I am a grandparent to 8 children. Four of these children are currently enrolled in McKinney ISD schools. I can tell you that early on we all took ALL of the necessary precautions but ended up with the virus anyway and all of these children have been exposed to it and all have faired well throughout. The science is increasingly showing that the children are the "least affected", but not totally immune to the virus. The schools already have precautions set in place for home quarantine if children feel sick with possible COVID-19 symptoms. Please reconsider the school mask mandate and allow the children to be normal school children again. Let them go to school as they use to where they can run and play with friends and see their smiles as they use too. Thank you for your time.

I have two children. One of my kids has no problem wearing a mask. But I also have a child who has learning disabilities, including ADD, so he constantly fidgets with his mask. This has caused him to be scolded almost every day by his teachers, and he received a dress code violation because one teacher could see his nose. This has caused much frustration and tears, and he would excel in an environment where he can not constantly be in fear of punishment.
Please allow choice for our children!

Stop the communism!! Let parents choose. If mask work why do 2 people in contact have to have them? The one with it in will be "protecting" themselves.
