Uber is finally coming to Monroe County. Seeing this change happen for our community makes every bit of the effort worth it. Please keep an eye out for the launch date as we finally get the safe transportation options we deserve.

My name is Mary Beard, a life-long resident of Waterloo, Illinois. I am not involved in politics nor am I a business owner. What I am is an involved resident who loves the community in which I was raised and thrives to make Waterloo – actually, all of Monroe County – an even better place to live or visit. Uber is needed. I will admit it. I wish I would have thought of creating an on-demand private-driver business years ago. I believe the concept of Uber helps both the drivers, as well as the community it serves. But – since I cannot claim fame to Uber’s existence – I want Uber to make Monroe County part of their repertoire of private-drive areas.

An on-demand ride service is definitely needed here. It's not always possible to give a ride service 24 hours notice.
We need UBER in Waterloo. There is no place to park if you get up town after 7 pm on a weekend
Monroe county needs Uber. As an under serviced area that seems to get overlooked we could really use this service.
If the county is truly concerned with public safety this shouldn't even be nessicary. Give people a option of alternative transportation, instead of driving a being a danger and income source for the state and county.
I am a lifelong Waterloo resident and we definitely need a form of public transportation as we are beginning to grow. I have a disability and have had to forfit my license at one time because of it. I believe Uber would have been a huge help to me in that time of need aswell, not just for intoxicated people.
Yes Waterloo needs Lyft or Uber for those reasons stated

Simple transportation between Columbia, IL and Waterloo, IL is non-existent if you can't make it to a bus stop. We need more options!
