Ridiculous treatment of Magee and Coleraine, both of whom had enjoyed some great times in the Collingwood. Being treated like second class citizens.

It's not feasible for talented players to travel such distances to play in the very best tournaments. UUC students have proved themselves more than capable of winning competitions. This decisions flies in the face of the Irish FA ethos of enabling every part of the country the opportunity to play at a level that furthers their footballing talents.

This is a disgraceful decision which is very difficult to justify. Good on the current students for standing up for what should be a right to play sport.

BLOODY DISGRACE THAT UU AUTHORITIES ARE TRYING TO BLOCK KEEN STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN INTERVARSITY GAMES. IN THE CURRENT ERA WHERE SPORT APPEARS TO TAKE A SECOND PLACE TO XBOX,PS4,IPAD ETC ACTIVITIES WILLING PARTICIPANTS SHOULD RECEIVE ALL THE SUPPORT POSSIBLE.

Integrity is such an important part in any dispute. I had a reply to an email that I sent to Dr Barnett. The details of that are at odds with the way that this issue has been dealt with from the UUC soccer club perspective. The real version of events always come out but it is the damage that is caused while on that road that may leave some with a few regrets in the aftermath. Surely it is imperative on all parties to get around the table and act with integrity to ensure that the right outcome is reached for all.
