This would work much better, not to mention feel and look better. If garbage is a problem, I'll personally help clean it.

Whatever math is being used to justify this is bad and rude. A hefty slice of grads (~80) won’t even have the option of bringing all of their immediately family members.

The decision to move the graduation to Kimmel, which resulted in the limited seat count, is shameful. Already my family and my friends’ families have experienced stress over this news. As I am typing this, my roommate, a fellow graduate, is on the phone with her grandparents in tears.
Was this decision based on the additional cost of having Kimmel open as a back up in case of inclement weather? If that is the case, I would then have to ask about the moral clarity of UNCA’s leadership. I remember a student saying that the cost of operating Kimmel is around $71,000 per event. I am unsure whether that is accurate, but even if the cost was $100,000, does that monetary value encompass the meaning of graduation to my fellow students and their families? I believe my education would push me to argue that no monetary value can be assigned to such meaning.
As an out-of-state student, the additional cost of having an alternative space open is roughly equivalent to the cost of my education.
Please reconsider this decision. I have loved my time at UNCA. I would hate for a bad taste to be left in my mouth about my final event on my alma mater’s beautiful campus.

I will be disappointing mentors, friends and family if this 4 ticket minimum stands. I am the first in my family to go to College and I’d like to share it with them.
Thanks
