there are so many first gen students that have families that want to see them graduate. in general, there are more than 4 people that support each student through college. if you want the school to keep growing, the school needs to accommodate more, not the students accommodate less.

We pay too much for our degree! Students deserves more than 4 tickets for their family who also spend a lot of money for travel to see loved ones walk! Raise the limit higher!

UNCA is a growing school and has to make better choices when considering the needs of its students. Some students have big families who have contributed a lot to their college career and it would be a shame for these supporters to miss this moment. As a soon to be first generation college student I hope UNCA can fix this issue quickly.

I am married and my parents are divorced. Due to the low amount of tickets offered I cannot invite all of my family.

having seen previous graduations - remember a year ago when they switched from outside to inside really last minute and everyone got 7 tickets and had to make the stressful decisions during finals? i can understand why the university chose to make this decision now, rather than waiting and watching the weather - but if it doesn't rain i'm going to be pissed as hell. we are going to be one of the largest graduating classes this university has seen, and i would rather have it on the quad, than have to exclude my friends from celebrating with me. i think this decision could have been made in a way that included the voices of students and not been as compassionless as it currently feels. i believe that even if the university doesn't move it back to the quad, there should be some accountability or at least transparency and conversation with the students.

I serve on SGA as a representative of the student body. Contrary to what the administration may have you believe there was far from unanimous support for their decision. We had no formal vote on supporting this idea, there were no students involved in the decision making process. It was decided FOR us by the administration whether SGA supported it or not. If the public High School I graduated from in poor rural north Carolina can find a venue to provide more than adequate seating, this University with millions of dollars from tuition can do the same.

Our granddaughter will graduate from UNC-A in May. We and many more in her family made plans to attend months ago. Now we find the venue is not large enough. What a disappointment! Please move the graduation to the Quad!! Thank you!

My sister is graduating, and we are a family of six so 4 tickets will not be enough! We all want to be there to watch her graduate.

Graduation on the quad is truly a beautiful way to end our college career some of our first memories were the tour groups where we exited lipinsky walked up the liberty and gazed out on the quad. We don’t care to end it in a gym. Please let people end it here on the quad.

Students need to be able to invite more people to watch them walk the stage.

4 tickets is not enough to support a graduating student! Please support moving this to the Quad, not only for this year's class, but for my class and future classes.
