The Troup County Board of Education should repeal the rule of only allowing high school seniors to exempt finals

This is crazy. I've worked hard to keep a 3.8 gpa and this is what I get. It makes me not want to work hard

I dont think its fair because a lot of students work hard all semester or all year I think they deserve a early break .

This is not fair to all the students.. It's not fair for the students that work hard to keep their grades up, good attendance record, good behavior, pay their fees, etc...This is not fair!!!

I was so looking forward to exempting finals this year. it's not fair to the people that actually work their butts off to exempt finals

I don't think you understand. We're not saying no one should be able to exempt. We're saying everyone should have a chance to exempt.

You people do not understand..I'm a senior and I feel like this is a reward for making it this far. Yes people do work their butts off to exempt from their finals, but you are lucky some schools don't even allow expempting finals.. Parents, if your kid was a senior you would understand how much they have worked to get here. Seniors, how long have you been through this, how much work have you put in, don't you think you deserve some kind of reward?? So screw this petition and grow up!!

I think that they should just not let seniors exempt from finals because that's not fair because some people work there butts off to make A's & B's all year!

Y'all do way too much . This isn't what people want. Y'all make school Too much for ppl to handle. Seniors already have a lot of stuff on their plate , like college and graduating and prom (if they decide to go) . So Just chill out . This is why so many ppl drop out, bc y'all make school SO much harder than it actually is. Just look at it in a seniors perspective, y'all wouldn't wanna do it. So why?
