I do not want COSTCO here; Kanner already has enough volume of traffic. I want the County Commissioners to stop pushing their exploding expansion agenda.

This issue is an environmental one that affects all of Florida and the environment in general, not only Stuart, though especially Stuart at this moment. It is about observing the law and responsible use of power for the best possible life for all who inhabit Stuart, the rest of Florida, and the world. Stuart is one part of a global life chain. The judge's decision was valid and should be accepted. Please stop the destruction.

I have spoke before the city at two previous hearings discussing our infrastructure issues. You have responded with saying our studies have shown our roads can handle this project. Just use common sense travel down indian st,pomery ,montery and US1 and if you are fortunate enough to make it into the turn lane it will take two lights to make the left turn. Learn from St lucie county and build costco out by I-95 with a planned infrastructure. But our developer wants the apartments which won't happen out their. Just do what's best for the residents of martin county. Haven't you done enough damage by cramming every multi family project possible over the past three years.

I am not against Costco in Martin County. I am against this location . As representatives of the residents of Martin County( Stuart is our County Seat) your responsibility is to all residents of the County, not just City residents. You need to reevaluate your decision and the adverse effects allowing a high volume big box store will cause the residents, school and local businesses with the projected increase of traffic estimated to be between 8-10 additional cars per day. Let this builder find Costco a new location one closer to a 95 exit.

All of the expeditious growth that is happening is out of control and the location that Costco is wanting to build along with the other businesses and housing is a bad idea. Take it further northwest where there are people who want it. Port Saint Lucie is wanting a Costco in their area. You are destroying this county and city and for what? Greed. Martin County is a desired location for tourists with its hometown feel and reasonably limited height on buildings to take in the sunsets and other uniqueness of our area. We do not want to become the over developed, dirty, scummy other cities like West Palm Beach and the other bigger cities. We have had a healthy balance in this city and county and it needs to remain that way. Some growth is expected but this is too much. Stop it!

This location is redundant when there are not enough roads to accommodate such unbridled growth. Let the developers go where they are needed.

This location is not appropriate for costco/gas station/ apartments. As a Palm City resident I am outraged by what the city of Stuart is allowing!

Live in Palm City and there’s already too much unchecked growth all around us.

This location would be an utter disaster for Stuart and Palm City. Love Costco but the location of any big box store needs adequate land, access, etc. They should be building in Tradition--WEST of I 95.

What happened to our slow growth program. Growth seems to be out of control with so many project going up and traffic growing every day. It feels like I live in Jupiter. This must slow down if we want any quality of life! Bob Squires, Palm City

Too small an area mostly residential. Traffic will be prohibitive. Doesnt belong there. Go up to St. Lucie where the area is wide open.

I have seen Jupiter grow out of a small town to an over crowed city now it is happening to Stuart.....don't let out of state developers take away their small town charm.

I live in Hobe Sound but am sick of the over development in Martin Co. This is happening all over Martin Co. and it saddens and sickens me.

It is becoming a challenge to traverse the north-south roads through Stuart already due to auto congestion. It seems that every available lot of land is being developed for more housing. How many more cars will be using our roads? We do not need the kind of traffic on Kanner Hwy that Costco will attract. The Commission is definitely tone deaf on the needs of Stuart and Martin County.

Kanner cannot support the heavier traffic this will bring. Project should be located closer to I95

Enough overgrowth! We have enough stores to service our area! Please respect the people of Martin County and keep us safe from overgrowth! We love our community!
