Why dont they switch to a similar system as national express? Smart cards, which are scanned when you board the bus. If you lose the pass it can be deactivated, so not used fraudulently, and a new pass can be issued for a small administration fee?

If students copying or giving their pass to their friends is an issue then surely this can be easily resolved by getting YOUR bus driver to check the photo ID and bus pass ID number match, and if not confiscate and report it (AKA doing their job). Might I add telling us this after buying the bus pass is false advertising, agreeing to one service but receiving another. You are clearly taking advantage of students, knowing many of us have no other option than to take a bus which often drives pass us anyway or does not arrive when expected! Having to pay the already extortionate £301 again for a below par service is NOT the solution when many of us struggle to afford this as it is.

The passes shouldn't be being used fraudulently as the drivers should be checking to see if the name on the pass matches the students student card. It's their own company's fault!

I constantly start and finish my day cold and pissed off because the unreliable stagecoach service forces me to wait in the cold in the hope a bus might actually be only 20 mins late and not already full this time.

Stagecoach is quite clearly a company that could not care less about the service it provides. Buses are more often late than they are on time, and that's when they show up at all. The journey from south leam to campus should take no longer than 40 minutes without traffic and I have frequently waited longer than this for a bus to even turn up. They are exploiting their captive audience in a way that is unnecessary and, frankly, unfair. £301 is a huge amount of money for a service so unreliable and apathetic

the lack of organisations from stagecoach is horrific. This is rediculous how there will not be any returns on lost bus passes.
When I paid for the bus pass I agreed to the refund policy. I have not been consulted on this change and therefore it is not able to be enforced.

If you have a monopoly on the area, then don't ask your customers for such extortionate prices. I understand that replacing a bus pass is inconvenient, but paying for a 12 month bus pass twice because of loss is not the solution.

Stagecoach's treatment of its student customers has been appalling for far too long - since at least 2009 in my experience. The service it offers is wholly inadequate for the price of one pass, with regularly buses being late or there not being anywhere near enough buses to handle demand. Yet they blame and punish their paying customers for this. Charging full price for a second pass just shows the sheer contempt they continue to hold us in, especially when there is no/little alternative for students living in Leamington Spa.

The way stagecoach is treating it's customers is becoming ridiculous. 90% of the busses are late. Sometimes they don't come for almost an hour, or even don't turn up at all. The student bus pass, which is pretty much required for all students living in Leamington is horribly expensive at £301. The university had contacted them about this multiple times, but stagecoach are yet to change.

Not only that but considering we're paying £300 it would be appreciated if the buses were on time and often enough to fit all students on so we don't have to spend an hour queuing!
