Keep Dundee Safe - Stop the Farnam Street Roundabouts (Victory by unanimous vote!)

The round about created at 50 north of Hamilton is a terrible piece of roadwork. Hazardous and barely patched they tried one at 40 and Davenport. Changed it and the signs are constantly causing damage to vehicles. The signs are down more than they are up. Roundabouts don’t solve traffic issues. They cause more. Checking the traffic patterns why would a round about be needed or benefit the traffic flow in these areas

This is a dangerous proposal , for citizens walking in that intersection

not only ridiculous but would destroy the beautiful landscaping. It just needs to be 2 way at all times

Roundabouts are not necessary, they create new dangers, and they will diminish the beautiful character of these neighborhoods on Farnam Street

City engineers need to listen to neighbors in area they plan projects in

It’s a terrible idea

I drove Farnam for 30 + years to and from work downtown, and the only problem I noticed was the change in traffic direction during rush hour. I think the roundabouts would annoy drivers and ruin a beautiful neighborhood. I think in an older, congested area like this, roundabouts would create more traffic accidents.

We agree that not having the roundabouts will make community safer

Very much against the roundabouts. Will make street crossings so much more dangerous for children who depend on the walk lights, and we can't lower the car crash rate below three per year!

We know this is another government boondoggle. Simply grift contract for someone related to someone in government. Please don’t do it.
