it feels awful that a prompt can be called art.

I wasn't aware, until coming across this petition, how prevalent AI art theft has become. I also wasn't aware anyone was making money with AI art, and I'm an AI art enthusiast. If there is money to be made, then there needs to be protection for sure.

Disregarding the copyrights of AI graphic designers and intellectual theft is absolutely unacceptable. Regulating these rights is urgent – AI is a tool, the creator, and the artist is the human. And their rights must be respected.

Es injusto que se roben las creaciones hechas con IA.
El arte se expresa con el corazón a través de un pincel o de una hermosa indicación.

I've found my AI generated art on Temu, Facebook, and in coloring apps found on Google. I watermark my images to reduce theft, but have still had them stolen and the watermarks removed.

A definite problem. The law has to catch up. In the meantime, copywrite your most original detailed prompts, with a copy of resulting image, everyone. It's automatic in at least some places if you download and send yourself a dated e-mail, for example. Good initiative, Lucyalia.

Stop stealing artwork of any kind from artists, designers, musicians, etc. As a designer I've had my work stolen from Etsy and sold on sites from China using the same Etsy posts I created to sell my photography.

While I am not yet aware of selling of my Art, I have had to face off against my own art work in a few contests. Most of what I create is dark fantasy horror and extremely unique. So far, I have faced three of my previous works. It does need to stop.

AI art isn't copyrighted by law but AI artists deserve to gave their work protected so that their work/designs are unique. Shops like Temu etc should not be able to steal designs. They should pay the artist for use of the artist's work if they want to use it. It's theft!!

I support the protection of art created on AI platforms such as Nightcafestudio so it doesn’t get copied and resold by unconnected companies

wow I leave all my prompts open and when I do use someone elses prompt either to learn something or just play around with it I send them the image to let em know whats going on that's just good manners, but to out right just steal and sell a image for profit without least some kind of notice is not right
